Group Product Manager


The Senior Sales Experience Manager will be responsible for the sales experience across multiple business products, including consumer deposits and cards, residential, non-residential, small business, and DDA lending. This position will lead enterprise initiatives to launch new account acquisition capabilities, improve customer onboarding, and drive product profitability. This position will integrate and optimize resources across people, processes, and technology to deliver a consistent consumer experience through the most appropriate channels. The sales experience leader will demonstrate thought leadership by having a deep understanding of business needs, industry trends, and competitor offerings.

The Senior Sales Experience Manager will enhance the Omnichannel division's mission to bring all of U.S. Bank's offerings to their customers by creating solutions that empower people to reach financial goals. This position will strive to create simple, seamless experiences for customers from account opening to fulfillment. S/he will serve as an advocate for customers across a broad collection of touch points including online, mobile, phone, branch, and ATM. This executive will provide the thought leadership, strategy, and tactical execution to bring together resources across the organization behind the common goal of a premier client experience.

The specific duties of the role will include:

+ Responsible for the definition and development of personal, business, and wealth management sales experience.

+ Monitor and manage performance of all acquisition sales KPIs versus to forecast and YoY. Enhance reporting and dashboards to demonstrate revenue impact and ROI.

+ Driving digital customer acquisitions and optimizing omnichannel onboarding and fulfillment of consumer and business deposit, lending, and investment products.

+ Engaging with internal product and technology stakeholders to establish digital sales goals and prioritize initiatives to drive sales and improve customer experience.

+ Collaborate with other Omnichannel teams and internal stakeholders in product, marketing, and technology to design and develop test and learn plans to continuously optimize the sales funnel and customer experience.

+ Build cross-functional relationships with marketing, technology, consumer insights, analytics, product, and sales teams to ensure a consistent experience across customer touch points to maximize results.

+ Define and maintain an enterprise roadmap view of sales experience initiatives and collaborating with other senior leaders to prioritize large enterprise initiatives.

+ Pioneer opportunities to create new revenue generating support and service offerings, via digital and traditional capabilities.

+ Creating, capturing, and distributing knowledge and repeatable business models to provide best practices and methodologies to the overall organization.

+ Providing thought leadership on the development and delivery of differentiated, digitally- enabled sales experiences, specific to the evolving and varying needs of customers and businesses.

+ Develops and monitors compliance with operational budgets; analyze variances in budget and initiate cost containment strategies.

+ Participates in cross-functional task forces and projects.

Basic Qualifications?- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience?- 3 years of sales products experience (product management, marketing management, channel management,

strategy, sales management)?- 10 years professional experience, with at least 5 years of Digital/eCommerce experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience?-


+ The leader will have a proven track record of growing large-scale direct-to-consumer growth in a highly regulated industry with disciplines around demand generation, marketing automation, personalization, operations, direct response and local/ national marketing.

+ Sales experience across multiple products - understanding full end-to-end customer lifecycle - Considerable experience with customer focused design and development projects

+ Customer Journey Analytics - experience with marketing funnels and the tactics/tools available for the navigation from brand exposure to conversion

+ Online Sales and Marketing Channels - knowledge of the high-level factors that drive the successful utilization of online channels

+ Ability to manage multiple high priority projects to successful completion in a timely manner

+ Excellent tactical planning and project management skills

+ Strong partnership and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams and influence decision makers

+ Tenacious analytical skills, with experience interpreting and summarizing financial and web KPIs

+ Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and build cases for taking action

+ Competency with digital marketing strategies (SEM, SEO, display advertising, multivariate testing, propensity driven offers and prequalification)

+ Strong understanding of digital sales capabilities

+ Strong business acumen and understanding of how key performance indicators drive performance for the sales funnel

+ Effective relationship skills and organizational savvy to work effectively across business segments

+ Collaborative and a team player

+ Experience leading cross-functional teams

+ Direct staff management experience: recruiting and talent management

+ Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills - Excel and PowerPoint skills required

+ Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and build case for taking action
